Version 7 of Alert should give you the option by Right clicking on SMTP and modifying the SMTP settings to include the address of your SMTP server. Hope this helps.

thanks for the info, however I am running Arcserve for NetWare so the manager is Arcserve Manager V9 for Netware and I am trying to apply to Support pack 1 this works on other XP machine but not mine....... Thanks again Peter

The contaner of the NDS tree, displays a Question Mark as apposed to the correct symbol. As a result of this we can not add users etc. On occasions you get it back, NFI why. I have run DSREPAIR on all Netware servers, still no luck. Has anyone stumbled accross this problem before??? Thanks,

Have you had a look at Profiles under Arcserve, set yourself up as a "Super User" see if that helps.

We removed NWASPI from loading on our Netware box and all problems that we had disapeered.....
