Installing Service Pack Errors - HELP !!!!!

I am getting failed to install Service pack on a XP PRO workstation running SP 1

Has anyone out there had problems installing 9.01 and how did you get around it.

Try this
From the OS Services Manager stop all the ARCserve services,
close the Manager,
now try it.

If that still don't work set the services to Manual, restart, then try it.

thanks for the info, however I am running Arcserve for NetWare so the manager is Arcserve Manager V9 for Netware and I am trying to apply to Support pack 1 this works on other XP machine but not mine.......
