This is the error that is displayed when we click on job staus within Arcserve Manager while logged in with a non-administrative account.
Error message received: The job queue is not available because the current system user doesn't have administrator rights.
The account in question is a member of backup operator and power user groups.
Is it possible to give backup operators permission to view the job status window, without adding them to local admin group?
Troubleshooting we've done:
Tried giving full control to the Computer Associates registry structure under HKLM also it has been installed outside of Program Files folder structure, but still am unable to view the job status window.
Any suggestions welcome.
