We are using arcserve to backup all of our centrally managed servers. We are backing up several Win NT and Win2K boxes as well as 3 unix and 4 Novell servers. The Unix and Windows servers backup up at somewhere between 300-400Mb/min but when we get to the Novell boxes the backup rate drops to 25Mb/min. We have looked at several items on the Novell box including several patches and the new TCP/IP stack, but to no avail. Anyone have additional ideas for us???

What version of NetWare are you using (including Service Packs) and what version of NWAgent have you got installed on them? -----------------------------------------------------
"It's true, its damn true!"
-----------------------------------------------------

We are running Netware 5.1 Service Pack 2. THe netware agent is v7.0 - nwagent.nlm 5/14/02. The TCP/IP Stack is v5.81o 10/?/02 -- Null Encrypted. TSA's (and other SMS files) from most current patch TSA5UP11.EXE dated
11/?/02. NIC's and switches are forced to 100/Half. NIC drivers are current per HP. NWASPI.CDM has been back-reved to ver2.0 per Novell TID 10054148. TCP Delayed ACK and Nagle Algorithm have been turned off per Novell and
ArcServe. Set commands have been adjusted for optimal throughput per ArcServe knowledgebase.

We removed NWASPI from loading on our Netware box and all problems that we had disapeered.....

How did you get the ASPIBD.NLM board to load without NWASPI.CDM?
