how can i restrict normal users from logging in to a pc in our network?
basically, this pc is supposed to be used for a specific purpose and is logged in as a specific user, but people just log it off, log themselves on and do their stuff. how can we restrict this pc so only the specific user...
we believe we found the problem. in one of the properties from the exchange server, (only administrator can see), there was an option regarding the age of the appointments. apparently, it was set to 1 day.
this very highly the most possible cause but we've asked the people to start using it...
i don't know how if this might work with your cases but i had a pc once that wouldn't connect to the domain. the static ip address i was using was correct with the dns and the gateway and everything (not that they would matter anyway). i could ping the server and other pc's but it just wouldn't...
why does my document turn into funny symbols and boxes?
it will happen when i leave it (word) open for a while and when i come back to it, parts of my documents turn into the symbols and i can't turn them back unless i re-open the document. that is if i was lucky enough to save it first before...
