I know this may sound like a stupid question to some people, but I am moving to a new computer (from one lap-top to another), and some of the programs that I have (but want to keep) I no longer have the disk for. Is there a way for me to transfer everything that I am running on one computer to another by swapping the hard drives? Both systems will be running Win 2000P with a P3 processor. <== Some people say they are afraid of heights. With me its table widths. ==>

Doesn't Norton make a program that facilitates the ghosting of drives? <== Some people say they are afraid of heights. With me its table widths. ==>

Unless all the hardware is exactly the same you will have problems swapping a hard drive with OS installed from one system to another. There are ways it can be done with varying likelihoods of success
