How to change color of bullets or numbering

Here is my bulletted list:
0 I want this bullet red because this text is red
0 I want this bullet blue because this text is blue
0 red red red
0 blue

How do accomplish this?

where do you want to do this on? Microsoft word?
we are using word 2002 and i can change the color of the bullets. just have to customize them.

With Microsoft Word 2000, the highlighting should be as easy as triple-clicking on the particular bulleted item, then choosing your color.
