You may want to check MS site for Hardware compatibility list not all video cards worked together under Win98. I did it but both cards were PCI.

I am trying to find out why a Dell with WinMe won't restart when using the restart option. The shut down option works fine. The restart option does work when in safe mode. Does anyone have any ideas on what to look for?

Problem solved! It was the McAfee firewall. That was the of the things that was disabled in msconfig so I thought that it wasn't the problem. Uninstalled the firewall and everything works fine thanks for the help
