Windows ME Restart Option Not Working...

I am trying to find out why a Dell with WinMe won't restart when using the restart option. The shut down option works fine.

The restart option does work when in safe mode.
Does anyone have any ideas on what to look for?

Exactly what happens when you try to restart in the normal mode?

Check the power mangment options in the bios or control panel. I'll check on the web if you give me what kind and all the stats of your computer.

Oh well problem got solved after upgrading to WinXP.
