The 9670G is a touch screen, but absolutely not a Video phone. It is an extremely overpriced phone and it has also already been made end of sale. If you can find them for cheap, they look impressive on a desk, but they are nothing more than okay touch screen phones. the 9641 is a better...
Unfortunately you can not do facility test calls on ISDN trunks. Facility test calls only work on analog trunks and standard (non-ISDN) T1s.
I hope this helps!

No there is not a way to page multiple, but not all paging groups just using the system, you would have to use a third party paging module. Bogen makes some real good paging equipment, and it is not too expensive.
I hope this helps!

Technically, individual IP trunks do not use C-LAN resources or sockets, the signaling group associated to the trunk group does. So an entire trunk group of IP trunks only uses approximately the same amount of C-LAN resources as a single IP telephone. So you could have hundreds of IP trunks...
PBXKID,
This will depend on the version of software that you are running and the type of processor. If you are running Communication Manager on a Linux based server, configuration is fairly simple. If you go to support.avaya.com and get the Administrators guide for your software version it...

As soon as the US Government and DOD starts to enforce that all agencies go to IPv6, Avaya will have a Communication Manager software release that supports it. You will have to pay toupgrade your software to use IPv6, but all of your firmware upgradable hardware (circuitpacks and...
The extension is most likely assigned on the Leave Word Calling system wide retrieval list in the System Features. Do a change sys feat and if is there remove or change it.

The feature is just "ringer off" and it is programmed on one of the buttons on the phone. Another possible option is enabling the visual ringer on the phone (the only problem is that I don't know if this shuts off the audible ringer or not!)
Visual Ring (Flash Message Lamp)
The Flash Message...
Rjblanch,
From what I have for documentation, Windows 2003 server is what is now reccomended, but I do not believe that XP is supported.
What version of VMM are you running?

98Converter,
Having an HA CMS setup where you can not access the secondary server pretty much means that you have one active CMS and one boat anchor. You really need to be running this one up through the ranks at Avaya. If this had been installed last week and you were having this problem it...
98Converter,
You may want to check out the number of licenses that are available on the secondary CMS. Due to some warped Avaya logic, the licenses are distributed across both the primary and secondary CMS, and the purchased number of licenses is the number authorized on the primary PLUS the...
NavyJake,
These phones are not at all inexpensive. I am fairly well acquainted with both the list price and wholesale prices of the Spectralink products, and I would expect that, based on the total cost of the system, the average price that you would pay per set would be close to $700. This...
You will only need a medpro if you are going to be using IP for the voice path. If you are going to be using the IP Softphone in Dual Connect mode, only a Clan is required.
As an FYI, dual connect mode is when you login to the system via the softphone, but take the voice portion of the call...
With the latest version of Communication Manager, when there is a system failure that causes the LSP to take over call processing, the LSP will continue to work normally for Thirty (30) days. If additional time is required to repair the problem that caused the LSP to become active, Avaya can...
This actually can be done. However you will need ot setup tenant partitioning on the switch so that the executive and the assistant are in a seperate partition from everyone else. You would then need to do some administration to make sure that everything else works correctly between the two...
