Do you need a MEDPRO to have IP softphones? I have 2 clans and no medpro.

Any info is appreciated

You will only need a medpro if you are going to be using IP for the voice path. If you are going to be using the IP Softphone in Dual Connect mode, only a Clan is required.

As an FYI, dual connect mode is when you login to the system via the softphone, but take the voice portion of the call over a regular telephone line.

You don't need a medpro if you set up the softphone using telecommuter. In this mode the voice path is setup using the PSTN. The PBX will call both parites and connect them together. This is how I use it and it's working fine

Hope this helps
