I am hoping someone out there knows a little about both UK IPO & US. Specifically we are looking to deploy an IVR solution which we would connect to IP through Qsig here in the UK. I may be wrong but I think that Qsig is european signalling and that US would need a different signalling type. The problem is that I can't explain this to any NYC Avaya dealers. Either I am explaining myself badly or Qsig is just unknown stateside.

What I need is to understand what the equivalent of Qsig is in North America, or if it is actually available.

Thanks in advance.

Qsig is an international standard, and is definitely supported by IP office. The number of Qsig features supported varies between vendors.
