    If you're new to Linux, during the setup, you may have set your security level too high and disallowed certain commands. Medium is a good setting for your server (if you are running one). This may be your problem.

    Windows hangs.

    Go into sysedit and click on systems. Check on hardware profiles and see if you have any conflicts with your video configuration. You may need to reload drivers or have a conflict with other devices on your system. If so, you may want to take off other devices and install your video card first.

    well, since it's a fresh new install, you may want to go back in and reinstall drake. Get drake 7.1, it has an awesome boot loader known as grub, and can see different hdd.

    Win NT 4 and Ultra 66

    NT can be really nitpicky about the hardware used with it. Is the controller compatible with NT4 and your motherboard? A friend of mine had the same problem. Once he swapped the motherboard with a newer one, his Ultra 66 had no problems running under NT4.
