    NBX100 can't access netset

Any assistance with this topic would be appreciated. I ran into a similar issue with my SuperStack 3 NBX. About a week ago the NetSet web interface stopped working, and I've tried both soft resets through Hyper Terminal, and a hard reset, and the NetSet interface is still unavailable. -Eric

    Server Certificates

Niksen, Thank you for the response. My concern is, the certificate would need to be on the Exchange server in general, as we would need it not just for OWA but for ActiveSync use as well. I appreciate the assistance, it appears this may not be a viable solution and we will just need to...

    Server Certificates

Is it possible to have more than 1 server certificate installed for a single Web Site? I have multiple domain names pointing to my Exchange server and when someone accesses OWA from the non-certified URL, they get prompted to continue, for obvious reasons. Thanks!

epohl, Thank you for the link and the suggestion, unfortunately, this solution did not work. MOM still reports on the management server that is was unable to get the Infrastructure Master.

Failed to get the Infrastructure Master

Every since I installed Windows Server 2003, Service Pack 1 on my Exchange Servers and Domain controllers, MOM Workgroup Edition gives me the following information notice on the management server: "Failed to get the Infrastructure Master for the domain 'DomainDnsZones.companydomain.com'. This...

    Event Viewer Notification?

Mark, Would it be possible to enter multiple e-mail addresses into your script? Otherwise, looks like a great script, thank you for making it available to those of us who aren't as adept at VB as others. Regards, Eric

How to avoid login again when opening files?

Zacca, Follow this link for the KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;823553 The article "applies" to Microsoft Office, which may be why you did not find it searching for it using SharePoint as the product. The changes, though, are applied to the SharePoint...

How to avoid login again when opening files?

Zacca, Your situation is beyond my experience with SharePoint. We have no problems with Office 2000 and IE 5.5 users receiving multiple authentication prompts, and with Office 2003 and IE 6/Win XP users, we were able to cut back on the amount of authentication by disabling the Shared...

How to avoid login again when opening files?

If the document opens into an IE window, the main Office program toolsbars do appear. If a user really needs to edit a file in it's native application, the can simply select "Edit" from the drop-down list for the file when they are in the document library.

How to avoid login again when opening files?

I have this same issue. I've found that performing the following steps: Perform the changes discussed in Microsoft Knowledgebase Article: 823553 Install Office 2003 Service Pack 1 Disable the Shared Workspace in Office 2003 by opening any Office program, click on the Tools menu, select...

    Creat returned error 255

Over the weekend, our XP clients stopped processing the System Login Script from our NetWare 3.12 server (we are in the process of migrate to Windows Server 2003, the files are being migrated Thursday evening). When we use syscon to edit the login script, it is not there. When we re-type the...

Windows 2003 DC on SQL Server or Exchange Server?

What about the Global Catalog Server? The GC server must be a DC, and I saw a suggestion for putting the GC on the Exchange Server. I guess in this setup it wouldn't matter. My biggest concern is the SQL Server.

Windows 2003 DC on SQL Server or Exchange Server?

I am about to migrate my network to a native Win2K3 and Exchange 2k3 environment. My IT Director and I have been wrestling with which server would make the better secondary DC, a SQL Server serving 5 clients and supporting a Great Plains 7.5 installation, or our new Exchange Server which will...

Upgrade advice? Can anyone tell me it is a bad idea?

First of all, I just want to say that I purchased a new Dell PowerEdge 2600 to house our Exchange 2K3 system. The existing PowerEdge 2600 we purchased in October for SQL and Great Plains works fine. Never any problems. Second, MSDN subscriptions are strictly for testing environments (per the...

Setting the From field as external address..

I am trying to find out if there is a way to send e-mail from my server with a different username@domain.com as the return address. We have employees who sell products for our partner, and they have e-mail addresses and accounts on the partner's system. So basically, if we wanted them on our...

    Lost Message Bodies/Deleted Log Files..

I had some issues with the private store last week. The IS would not start, and I did not find the solution until after the damage was done. I was able to use eseutil to get the store back online, but some log files were lost, and now several days of messages just have headers, if anything. I...

Error when deleting a network file

The probably is, this does not happen to just one user, or one file. And it happens to myself, and I am an admin. Here's the weird thing, if you immediately try to delete the file right after the error message is displayed, the file will delete. Microsoft said it might have something to do...

Error when deleting a network file

We are running Windows XP Service Pack 1 on our clients, and when deleting files that are stored on the network, we receive the following error: Cannot delete %filename%: It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that may be using the file and try again. Yet no one is...
