Not entirely sure but I know a web based version of Outlook called Outlook Web Server has a shared address book. Have you tried viewing the address book seperately and dragging it across into the shared directory ?

No. It's ok problem solved. The hard-drive was playing up about three weeks ago I've recently found out. I hadn't changed anything with the power on, but had the poc booted with the case off and saw the led. It seems to be a new hard-disk job !!!!

You are ok to use a splitter cable as long as your power supply can take the extra amps of the card.

I am unsure of exact minimums but I would recommend at least 128Mb minimum. I do know of one machine, but is bloody slow. Possibly 256Mb is average these days as memory is cheap anyway !!

You could also check the obvious loose connection on the mains cable as well as the power supply connector on the motherboard. Faulty mains cable can be common..

Bear in mind that the software used is more important that the system used. These days even older PC can easily burn DVD disks at a reasonable speed and quality, but using poor software can affect the issue more ! I use Nero for all my burning needs without any problem...

If you're running XP why not use the Restore facility and Restore your computer back to a previous state. I had a problem with Norton Internet Security and had to do the same !
