NEC DS2000 System Dropping Phone Calls

Have you tried to reverse T&R at the dmark? Does the system have a good ground? If you can make outgoing calls and don't hear a lot of static on the line, I would first try to reverse the T&R. On calls that you do receive, can you transfer them to other stations ok? If so, I would look back...

    CCR Tree Incomplete

Thanks for the reply's. It is definitely a CCR tree that is being used. I have to disable the tree to change the recordings when employee's leave/are hired by the company. Once recorded, enable the tree. People in the office record the Spanish message for Path “1”. Path “0” is the normal...

Installing Exchange 2000 on Windows 2003 Server

Thanks - it's never as easy as the salesman says! This is great information, gave me a heads up on what to discuss on the purchase of the server. So - far, it sounds like the server has enough resources to act as both an exchange server and file server. I will find out the cost if upgrading to...

    System dialing external numbers automatically.

feature #84 - cancels line redirection. May be heading you in the wrong direction. One of the techs here helped me with that problem a few months ago. Incoming calls where redirected back out of the system. Just a thought

    Startalk mailbox access

Tried the code 903 to re-initialize the VM but I get "Inactive Feature". When I do f985, input the reset code, it does take the code, prompts to reset, etc. But still cannot gain admin access with 120000 (2 digit dial on system). It's a Startalk Flash Release 02D or 020? sftware version...

    Startalk mailbox access

I installed a system that had been setting for several months unplugged. The Compact ICS came up fine, the startalk VM started, but took about 20 minutes for the system to see. I can do feature 9*x and see all codes, but cannot do F983 and get into admin. I reset password to 0000 but it will not...

    Norstar 0x32

map78620, You win! Feature 84 did the trick. Although I only have copper trunks - it cleared the problem. I didn't even think about it. I had no idea that any of the end users even knew about the feature, let alone trying to use it. Adding to the problem, the set at the cause of the problem...

    Norstar 0x32

Thanks for the reply! Agree, it's a real head scratcher. In 34 years, I've never seen this in any vendor equipment. I isolated the co lines, with butt set called/shorted each line, then called MLN and began shorting lines to verify hunting from CO was working. Then - reconnect all lines to the...
