When I use remote desktop connection within XP to connect to our Windows 2000 Domain Controller Winlogon.exe maxes out the cpu. I have always connected to this server before with no problems using terminal services and netmeeting while using 2000 professional. Could use some input.
What I mean is if someone called with a problem and you wanted to see what they are looking at on the screen. The way it works now you see the desktop but if they had an application open you do not see that.

OK so this is why they disappear on tuesday because of monday nites back up. Why are they be created in such a way. This was not happening until a few weeks ago. Can't be normal to have 2,007 txt files that are 5 Meg each. There has go to be some way to stop it.
I am having a problem on our Exchange 2000 server where the MBDDATA folder is building about 10 gig of log files every weekend and the they disappear on tuesdays. The files are only 5 meg each but there is a whole bunch of them. File name is E0002A13.txt is the first of 2007 txt files.
Thanks for the info it helped . Turned out to be a couple of emails were 75 MB in size and that was holding up the enitire process. These were about the 5th one in on the list. So I guess it was anthenticating all the time. Told user that was a little 2 big a file 2 be sending. Thanks again.
