I have a windows 2000 server with exchange server running on it. Due to disk space I had to reconfigure the server and restore the exchange information. Email works fine on existing accoutnts but when setting up a new user it will not setup a mailbox. Also cannot delete mailboxes when deleting...

I have tried that already and it does not work

I am unable to create an Exchange Mailbox when creating a new user account. The user account creates fine but never creates a mailbox.

Make sure your not scanning with anti-virus software or backing up the M:(exchange)drive.

Changed page file from c: to E: now server will not boot....any suggestions?

When I use remote desktop connection within XP to connect to our Windows 2000 Domain Controller Winlogon.exe maxes out the cpu. I have always connected to this server before with no problems using terminal services and netmeeting while using 2000 professional. Could use some input.

What I mean is if someone called with a problem and you wanted to see what they are looking at on the screen. The way it works now you see the desktop but if they had an application open you do not see that.

I verified the file associations and they are correct. It seems the system wont let me change them even if i try. The change does not take.

I know you enable the exchange server to be able to send out-of-office messages outside of the internal network to internet clients.....but how do u enable the client when there outlook profile is setup for internet email using a pop3 client to the exchange server. The out-of-office assistent...

Wont open attached jpg files, can save them to disk if you rename them. But even then they wont open.

OK so this is why they disappear on tuesday because of monday nites back up. Why are they be created in such a way. This was not happening until a few weeks ago. Can't be normal to have 2,007 txt files that are 5 Meg each. There has go to be some way to stop it.

I am having a problem on our Exchange 2000 server where the MBDDATA folder is building about 10 gig of log files every weekend and the they disappear on tuesdays. The files are only 5 meg each but there is a whole bunch of them. File name is E0002A13.txt is the first of 2007 txt files.

Thanks for the info it helped . Turned out to be a couple of emails were 75 MB in size and that was holding up the enitire process. These were about the 5th one in on the list. So I guess it was anthenticating all the time. Told user that was a little 2 big a file 2 be sending. Thanks again.

I can connect 2 the proper ports. I just dont know how to doing anything else after that. when i type in hyper terminal nothing types on the screen so i can't test user names and passwords. Help!
