    You don't say what OS you are using but if you are using win2000 or XP you can type mmc from the run box add a new snapin, add group policy. Many, many settings for IE that you can change from here along with many other user and computer settings.

    Like bcastner said, unplug the drive, reinstall. After install is done set the other drive to Slave, hook it up and boot. Windows will recognize the drive and assign drive letters.

    If you type "mmc" (without quotes) go to File-Add/Remove snap in, then click on add again and then pick the Group Policy snap-in you will be able to set all kinds of security settings, lock down the machine just about anyway you want to.
