    Excel 2000.. changing single cell width not column

    If you just want more room for data in the cell, you can also use word wrap within the individual cells: (Format>Cells Click Alignment tab, Check box for Wrap Text). This will increase the cell size vertically as needed for the entered data, and the width can remain the same within the column.

    I have seen this before. As best as i can remember, it is due to a difference in fonts between PowerPoint and a PS printer. It should print Ok if you don't use a Post script driver for the printer.

    Use the watermark capability in MS Word to place lines in the background (beneath the text), that won't be changed when making text entries. Look up watermarks in the help file.

    There may be some extra lines in your document that carry over to a new page. Use Page Down until you are at the bottom of the document, then backspace until the cursor is at the end of the last text line in the document and see if the extra page disappears.
