I am trying to create a form in a word document that allows one to enter 250 or so text charracters. Is there a way to create such a form or text box that keeps viewable lines in the document?
Viewable lines? You mean like making it look like it was typed on lines? Better luck next time! The ONLY way I know is to put a graphic that has lines on it in the header and place it exactly where you want to align it behind the form field. Anne Troy
Use the watermark capability in MS Word to place lines in the background (beneath the text), that won't be changed when making text entries. Look up watermarks in the help file.
Yeah, you have to draw graphic lines, you can use the line button on the drawing toolbar. Then you must anchor them in place so they won't move as you type or hit enter. I don't know the version of Word you're using, so I can't tell how exactly how to anchor them.
