    Does anyone know how to merge tapes created in Arcserve 6.61? I need to restore files from tape to Brightstor 11 and create a new database from the existing archives.

    Arcserve2000 manager quits

    I have exactly the same problem. The funny thing is, I see the same behavior if I change the screen resolution with arcserve running, the asmanager quits without warning or errors. This has been going on for about a year without a solution.

    Still crashing when trying to do two backup jobs simultaneously to the Cybernetics dual Mammoth II changer. All devices are disabled in Win2K, RSM is OFF. Adaptec 29160 drivers are up to date.?

    Thanks for the info. I applied the patch and another one related to the job status manager that releases the job after a crash. I still can't get a good backup, but it's more than just Arcserve, I think. Oh well, at least it didn't crash.
