under accounts it says my name, me and guest then under my name it says computer admin. does mean the spamfighter should work?

I emailed spamfighter help they said I need to install it as admin. The only way I know how to get to admin in xp home is safe mode and it won't work that way.

Did you try putting in a pci modem? It could be hardware.

It all depends on how the 3 beeps are heard. 3 continual beeps is faulty memory. You need to reset the memory and dust the pins. 1-2 Video adapter failure.
