This person went on vacation and came back and 2003 and 2004 were missing. They were in a folder on the desktop.
o/s = xp
30 gig hard drive (that runs very slow)
I found viruses and adware in it Norton had expired.
Tell me were you think it is? [ponder]

On my computer it is in a folder named Turbotax. Here is the path to it: C:\Documents and Settings\Myname\My Documents\TurboTax.

Check the recycle bin to see if the folder was deleted in error. If so just restore back to the desktop.

Try running a search of the whole drive for the file extensions used by TurboTax.

This is one reason the Desktop should only be used for links ... not for storage.

[Cheers]

I believe the turbo tax default extention is .tax. If you happened to save the file as a pdf which TT allows, check for any pdf files you may have as well
