Outlook Web Access Prompts You for Logon Credentials Multiple Times

This fixed the problem for me. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;327843 Authentication was not setup correctly, which is really strange considering nothing had changed from when it WAS working. Anyway, hope it helps.

Outlook Web Access Prompts You for Logon Credentials Multiple Times

This is freakin' weird. Same thing started happening on my server today. Has worked fine for months. The main difference that I see is after the first prompt the inbox appears and I can cancel the additional prompts and still use the mailbox.

Win can't determine user or computer name...do what?

I ran into the same sort of problems when I didn't have my DNS configured properly.(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;261007) With all of the research you guys have done, I'm sure you know this already, but it fixed my problem... You have to ensure that your domain...

    MMC error

Hi, All I found on this was the following article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;243471 I suppose you can recreate the compmgmt.msc file. Just rename the compmgmt.msc (compmgmt.bak or something) and then manually load the mmc, add the snap-in, and save it as...

XP Pro roaming profile logoff issues

Thanks for all of your responses. I guess I should mention that all of the affected users had profiles that worked well on both WinNT and Win2K machines... so I think the permissions on the server are fine. In fact, I can still login on an NT or 2K machine with the affected profile and it...

Mac OS X can't obtain IP from W2K DHCP?

I'm a little stumped by this one. I have set up half a dozen networks where Macs (OSX and others) obtain addresses from NT and Win2K servers. Haven't had a problem yet. There wouldn't happen to be a router between the client and the server would there? Could it be that it's not set up to...

XP Pro roaming profile logoff issues

Hello All, I *HATE* roaming profiles! Now that I have that out in the open... I have a Windows 2000 server domain with numerous WinNT, Win2K, and a few WinXP clients. Roaming profiles work well (but slow) for NT and 2K, but are giving problems with XP Pro. When logging off, the profile is...

Two DC controllers, one in local office, one in remote office.

Well, as nobody else seems to be responding, I'll give you my $0.02. If your VPN link is fast enough that you are not particularly worried about the replication traffic and are not planning on customizing the replication parameters, I would just config the box locally and ship it out. I...

WINDOWS 2000 SERVER DNS WINS DHCP INTERNET

Your problem is most likely due to the fact that you have multiple gateways configured on your servers. You may have to add static routes for things to work properly. Please see the following article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;159168 Good luck!

    cpu at 100%

I had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago. I also noticed that the machine was swapping like a sob and the disks in the array were thrashing constantly. I checked the logs and found that Exchange's online maintenance hadn't been able to complete the defrag process on the private store in...

Where did my "Folders View" go?

I have seen this before. In fact, I've seen it a few times. For some situations, the following article will be enough. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;192315 Usually for WinNT, 2K, or XP, you will have to see the following thread on another forum (am I allowed to post...

Limit users' ability to end specific task

Hello All, I am running printer accounting software used for billing printing expenses back to clients (law office). Some users are fond of ending the task through the Task Manager. The program is a simple executable run from a network server via a login script. I don't want to remove the...
