just installed BK Exec 9 and need to change the block and buffer size on the device properties window. however, when I click on properties nothing happens! don't get the usual box with the various tabs on it. have tried right clicking/properties and file/Properties Nothing!! Any clues thanks Gary.

Ok, A bit of a weird one. Working away in win2k pro and for no reason the program that I am working on minimises and windows explorer pops up in its place, exploring from my computer. Sometimes I don't even have to be touching the thing and POP! there it is again. Any clues? Gary.

The corrupt server was the second so the FSMO roles are all on the good one. The app was Metaframe XP which is accepting connections even though the server is only booted in directory restore mode. Problem is it won't boot any other way because of the AD corruption and I can't run DCpromo in AD...

I think DNS is ok, I mentioned that to eliminate DNS being the prob. seems to be complaining about Gl Cat server in the ev log. Do I need a GL Cat server for authentication.
