Thanks for the quick reply. But corporate policy is that we can't do this. Plus the domain on which the account locks out, we have no control over, its controlled by our sister company.
I'm wondering if there is anyting client side we can do?
We have mapped network drives that connect with a different user name. After connecting these drives and logging off and on, the drives appear with red X's through them. When clicking on them it prompts for the different user name logon credentials . - This is expected, but when we connect to...
Hi, - I couldn't see a MS NT4.0 Workstation forum, so I'm trying my luck here.
I am setting a password protected screen saver, and it kicks in once correctly. After unlocking the workstation after the first screen saver occurrence, it never hits the screen saver again.

Does the BIOS detect the correct sized hard drive?
If it doesn't you may need to update your BIOS versions. Try going to the motherboard manufacturer website and downloading the latest firmware. You will need your floppy drive working though!
Thanks to you both. I had previously tried both available PCI slots and know that they worked, because I intstalled a non-wireless NIC.
The Belkin software was also installed / uninstalled. If it was this, it probably wouldn;t hang at the BIOS screen? It would get a bit further?
I found the...

Hey, In IE Go to Tools - Internet Options.
Click the Advanced Tab and scroll down to the Security Section.
Make sure "Use SLL 2.0" and "Use SLL 3.0" are both checked. If not, check them and reload the browser.
Hope this helps?
