Hey all,
We have a brand new 802.11g Belkin network card and installing in it in a brand new HP Pavillion 415.uk PC.
When we install the card, the PC does not load further than the BIOS screen. Without the card installed, the PC loads fine.
I have tried disabling the internal / on board NIC in the PC and this doesn't make a difference.
I have tried both available PCI slots and no difference.
A normal (non wireless) PCI NIC boots the PC fine when installed, and the Belkin wireless card installed on another PC boots OK too.
I know the PCI slots are OK, I know the wireless card is OK. Any other ideas on what this could be?
There are no newer BIOS updates available for this PC which was brand new this month.
