Are your announcements on G4X0 gateways now? In CM use "enable ann xxxV9", where xxx=gateway#. Once you do that you can FTP them to your PC using something like WinSCP (in FTP mode). When you get them to your PC, review the AAMS admin guide for the structure of the ZIP file for bulk uploading...
If you have the WAV files already downloaded to your PC, you can follow the procedure for "bulk upload" in the AAMS Admin Guide. It basically just has to be zipped and "foldered" properly.
Read the release notes for 4.1.4 (Apr 2024) and see if that might have been an issue in the release you have. You can also search Avaya's KB through support site. Or you could upgrade 1-2 phones to 4.1.4 and test.

J-Series phones come from the "factory" with SIP firmware loaded. What version of SIP firmware are you running?

When you say the ports are not labeled are you referring to the rear of the G650? Each slot has a 50-pin Amphenol connector. You would use a 25-pair cable and wire that out to a 66, 110 block, or RJ45 patch panel.

PN[A-E]SSPP, PN = port network, carrier A-E, SS = slot 01-14, PP = port 01-32
EXAMPLE: 01B1024, this represents port network 1, carrier B, slot 10, port 24

the easiest solution would be to ask the Telco to send you more digits, what is your dialplan's extension length?

Have you tried using a COR? On pg 3, try stroking the station's COR to 'Mask CPN/NAME for Internal Calls?' = 'y'.

Apologies as I'm not as familiar with AADS dynamic configuration. It seems though that it might be easier to use GROUP programming for your phones with "IF $GROUP SEQ <GRP#> GOTO" statements in your 46xxsettings.txt file. You can set the GROUP value either on the phone itself or on pg3 of the CM...
If you want to enable file transfer on port 80 on AADS, run this command:
cdto misc && sudo ./us-http-port.sh --enable
This is documented in the AADS PDF.

list trace station <xxx> as it is making the call out. If it is sending the number you have programmed in the pub-unk table, contact your provider to have them enable CPE ANI option on your circuit. Most LECs do not charge for this but some do. LECs are under increasing pressure to validate the...
mattKnight's comments are accurate. However, IMO it's always better to have a real number that PSAP can call back and have a high probability that someone at the company will answer. I typically use a virtual station with coverage to a CAG that includes stations such as front desk, guard...
While kyle555's advice is correct from a programming standpoint, I would take exception to the part where it states it doesn't need to be a real station. It is best practice to have a working station built for your ELIN because, at least in North America, most PSAPs will dispatch police/fire if...
You will need root to perform this action. Edit the following file:
vi /opt/updates/update-info
Change the patch that is stuck in deactivating to a status of unpacked and write the file. This is the format of the file:
update-<release>-<update ID>:<status>:<update-dir>

This is the nomenclature for media gateways:
GGGVSPP
GGG = MG# from 001-250
V = Always V
S = slot# from 1-9 (note that 9 is a virtual slot reserved for the virtual announcement module)
PP = port on said slot from 01-24 (32 if you have your MM710B set for E1, 64 for slot 9 if virtual...
The rebootVM command is available on the 7.1.x loads of SM. There are also commands to start | stop | status jboss. See the SM 7.1 Admin guide for a full list of commands.

SMGR is a management console and can be restarted anytime without affecting calls. You didn't say what version you are running but in later versions you can use 'rebootVM' to reboot SMGR. Otherwise, shut it down gracefully (do not just power off) in AVP/VMware and restart it there.
