You're running a Unistim platform.
To confirm that the troublesome phones are running SiP, double tap the services button (the one with the globe and the two horizontal arrows) on the phone, this will bring up a menu.
go into Local Diagnostics, then ip set and scroll down to firmware version...
If the phone is prompting you for a user and login then it is running SiP f/ware.
please can you confirm that your other working phones are running SiP? If not then they are running Unistim - the units you are having problems with will therefore need to be converted over before you can use...

You would need to uninstall all of the channels of the DLI before revising the slot for EXTN
you can do this as follows, below example is assuming a slot position of shelf 1 slot 21 =

and so on all the way up to

then use
RSLT 0121...
Looks as though the phone does not have any f/ware loaded onto it. Believe it or not there was a time when Nortel/Avaya where sending the 12xx series out to site like this to overcome a firmware download loop problem with the CS1000's.
The phone would touch the CS1K, download whatever f/ware...
almost certainly caused by failure of the E1 POE daughterboard inside the phone - as already mentioned, over time the capacitors age and dry-out. One of many symptoms of this happening are the random keys not working.
We repair 100's of these a month with this problem.
