Problems with analog port going into a Bogen PCM paging unit

I'm not familiar with the 250, but you may be on the right track. Earlier Mitels were set up to provide a long ring for outside calls and two shorter rings for internal calls. I remember a COS setting to make all calls ring the longer version.

    Mitel 3300 - embedded voicemail

The 3300 embedded vmail is very much like the sx200. On the sx200, there is an option in admin to initialize the voicemail. Maybe that's what happened here? Don't give admin password to users, give manager password.

    New MIVO 400

Thanks jabbo99. I have it in hand now. As usual, Mitel documentation is weak, having found several First Start articles. I finally found the KB article that points to the 6.0 update and also lists multiple How To power points for the 470 6.0

    New MIVO 400

OK, guys, Thanks. Found Hospitality in the side menu. Once I clicked on that, the hospitality config assistant appeared underneath WebAdmin config assistant. Not sure what was going on there, but the crux of the problem was I was not in expert mode. Hey, how can I claim to be an expert on my...

    New MIVO 400

Hi Sarond, Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, it's in there. Oddest thing, Mitel Support is pointing to the Connected Guests iCharge installation in answer to my question. Do you know anything about that?

    New MIVO 400

OK, next question. Both the documentation AND the WebAdmin refer to a Hospitality configuration assistant. I can see the WebAdmin configuration assistant and the Hospitality configuration assistant is supposed to be directly under it, but it's not there. Any help? BTW, The Support ID is located...

    New MIVO 400

Zoo1; see that I answered my own question in comment above yours. Your solution is not possible as it is not possible to get past the channel selection on an Aastra without selecting a channel.. Thanks for taking the time to answer.

    New MIVO 400

UPDATE: So, that begged the question, "How to upgrade to latest software" The Documentation refers to a Search Tool (App). On Mitel Connect the tool is in software downloads for the mivo 400, but it is far down in the list. With this tool, I was able to do an Emergency upload of the V6.0...

    New MIVO 400

First one. I've apparently received the wrong unit. The Maint window and the GUI say AAstra AND I cannot select the US freemarket Sales Channel (It's not there). Can't contact support because I don't have a mivoice 400 support ID. Help!

    SX200 ICP AX

At this point I'd be calling Mitel Support. However, you might try swapping power supply units before you do.

Mitel SX50 programming and line access

Use the Data Dump Feature from the console. This will tell you which line / trunk is connected to which port. This will print to the printer port at which you need a serial printer or serial connection to a pc / laptop. Press Function, dial 97. Requires you to know a four digit access code. I...

carrier provides PRI from SIP using Cisco IAD

SIP has a terrible time with fax and modems even when using T.38. Suggest they convert that to an analog line. Vmail is probably a dtmf issue. SIP can deliver dtmf in 1 of 4 ways. If that's the case, have the provider work with you on determining the best method for your pbx. See this...

    Ghost calls

What model / version? Hint; Yes the line cards can develop problems. You need to identify which extensions are doing it and move them to different ports or replace the station cards.

    Remote Coverage Multiple Calls

G3 switch; Customer asked to send Sales calls to another PBX. Went Remote Cover; had to use PSTN. Works great, except only one call gets through at a time. Subsequent calls go to 2nd coverage point in the path (attd) which I added in case there were problems. Below is my Sales Coverage path. I...

Sip trunking not working through WatchGuard Firewalls

Break out the wireshark. If you're firewall is NATing, you need to make sure the SIP ALG is working properly and inserting the correct IP info where needed. Some ALGs will modify IP addresses when they aren't supposed to. I've found a cheap test is to order a small Mikrotik router and connect it...

    Oneway Speech

Yes, probable routing issue. Has internet router been replaced? When your PBX is behind a router, the router must be SIP aware.
