First one. I've apparently received the wrong unit. The Maint window and the GUI say AAstra AND I cannot select the US freemarket Sales Channel (It's not there). Can't contact support because I don't have a mivoice 400 support ID. Help!

Has it been licensed yet? What model MiVO400? 415, 430, 470 or SMBC.

I would just upgrade to the latest version before doing much more.

UPDATE:
So, that begged the question, "How to upgrade to latest software" The Documentation refers to a Search Tool (App). On Mitel Connect the tool is in software downloads for the mivo 400, but it is far down in the list. With this tool, I was able to do an Emergency upload of the V6.0 software. Hope this helps some other Mivo400 newbie.

Have you tried to follow the wizard...select channel (eg. AU), update SW to the latest (V6.0SP1) and, once is up, perform First start - this will give you option to select US channel...

Zoo1; see that I answered my own question in comment above yours. Your solution is not possible as it is not possible to get past the channel selection on an Aastra without selecting a channel.. Thanks for taking the time to answer.

OK, next question. Both the documentation AND the WebAdmin refer to a Hospitality configuration assistant. I can see the WebAdmin configuration assistant and the Hospitality configuration assistant is supposed to be directly under it, but it's not there. Any help? BTW, The Support ID is located in WebAdmin. See SYSTEM in System Info.

Do you have the Online Help for Hospitality Manager installed? Check under "Maintenance > File Management > Localization

Hi Sarond,
Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, it's in there.
Oddest thing, Mitel Support is pointing to the Connected Guests iCharge installation in answer to my question. Do you know anything about that?

No not really, it's more of an integration thing with other platforms. It has nothing to do with the Config Assistant.

Mine shows on my system but not sure why yours wouldn't.

OK, guys,
Thanks.
Found Hospitality in the side menu. Once I clicked on that, the hospitality config assistant appeared underneath WebAdmin config assistant. Not sure what was going on there, but the crux of the problem was I was not in expert mode. Hey, how can I claim to be an expert on my first system? : )

Thanks, again.

All systems with software release 5.0 or below doesn't have the CA or US Options. You have to perform a First Start. You have to select BG-Freemarket. This will let the system proceed to a manual software upgrade. Browse to the software (6.0) and accept the agreement and select system software update.

Check out the KB article titled First Start Mitel 470. It will explain everything you need to get moving forward. If you're ok now, great. If you still need help, post again and I'll do my best to help you.

This forum has been good to me over the past few years. I've installed several 400s already so I'll do what I can to provide help.

Thanks jabbo99. I have it in hand now. As usual, Mitel documentation is weak, having found several First Start articles. I finally found the KB article that points to the 6.0 update and also lists multiple How To power points for the 470 6.0
