Has anyone had issues with phantom calls on a Mitel sx200?
I am working with a hotel with several cabins a few hundred feet away. Several of the rooms have been calling out in the middle of the night, even when unoccupied and WITH THE PHONE UNPLUGGED.
Some of the wiring is questionable. I have removed partial shorts and corrosion however I cannot replace the entire system.

What model / version?
Hint; Yes the line cards can develop problems. You need to identify which extensions are doing it and move them to different ports or replace the station cards.

9110 cards go bad all of the time. 9109 cards are better. my experience with 9109 cards is the cabling.

I had a hotel with 200el with phantom calls all the time. During renovation we replaced cables going into the rooms and problem stopped. much of the cables were 2 pair, very old.

Problem found, I think. There is a outside pedestal with 50 pair leading to 30 cabins. Nearly every wire was corroded to the point you could not touch them without the wires breaking. We will be re-splicing before they open for the season.
Good to know about the cards, I will check that as well.
