Missed calls on 6900 phones for main line

We recently moved a customer from an Avaya IP Office system and have run into a bit of an issue to replicate the way they were used to handling missed calls. We originally had them setup with a multi-call key for the main line which delay rang to all users if the receptionist could not answer...

    Call recall issue

So I have done some more testing, the minute the external no answer or busy is removed the system follows the recall timer and the call is recalled to the reception extension as it should. I have tested by removing the key system line keys and sending the inbound calls straight to an extension...

    Call recall issue

Yip, I’ve tried adding the timers against the trunks, station and even the HG with the line keys in. Same outcome with all of them. The system disregards the recall timer and waits for the CFNA timer.

    Call recall issue

Have a strange one that I've come across and exhausted all options to try and figure this one out. Calls come into a HG with 4 line keys which are programmed on the reception extension. All users have DDI's and call forwards set for No Answer Ext and Busy Ext to forward back to reception. The...

    MiVoice Business Console dropping calls

Check the logs for an error that says the MiVB console version is incorrect for the MIVB version you are using. I had the exact same issue after another tech had done an upgrade. Went through the logs and the error shows up clearly.

    MiCollab on Hyper-V

I had consulted the virtualization guide before installing but turns out when you're busy with multiple faults and trying to install a virtual appliance something like that was easily missed. Having the OVA's is a wonder when doing VMware deployments.

    MiCollab on Hyper-V

Just came across this same issue while installing a MiCollab on Hyper-V. Turned out I only had 1 vCPU assigned to the virtual instance. Assigned another vCPU, rebooted and the MiCollab service started. All has been good with the server now

    CLI Issue with SIP Provider

Having an issue with a SIP provider when trying to manipulate the outbound CLI of a call. The SIP provider says they use the P-Asserted Identity Header to manipulate the CLI which is easy enough using the DID for CPN Substitution form and then assigning it to the outgoing DID range on the SIP...

Sending multiple NameTag Hunt Groups to one mailbox

*1000 was created as a nametag HG, but looks like it held the DDI from the previous nametag. The weird thing was how it found its way to the operators mailbox. But at least its all working now.

Sending multiple NameTag Hunt Groups to one mailbox

So I had a bit of a weird one the other day. Had a customer who is in the business of renting managed office space. due to the fact that they have more than 60 incoming numbers which need to be handled and answered uniquely by the receptionists we set the DDI's as nametag hunt groups to pass the...

    CCM Auditor Mode

I have used the Auditor a lot to prove to contact center managers that agents are not doing exactly what they say. In my experience the auditor is always spot on as all it does is read the SMDR and ACD data from the historical databases and replay them. One thing I have found is the data...

Telnet command for clearing SDS logs

There is a way to clear them but not via a telnet command. You will need to connect to the controller via and FTP client like Filezilla Client. Browse to the directory /db/database/files delete the following 3 files and reboot: distpayl.db dsttrnlog.db dstupdat.db This will clear all the SDS...

MiVoice system sending incorrect SIP registration username when authenticating!

ok so I've done some more investigating. What I have found is that the SIP provider iiNet requires all the numbers in the range to be registered with them for them to become active. The vMCD does allow you to register a range of numbers in the Registration Username field (This is clear in the...

MiVoice system sending incorrect SIP registration username when authenticating!

I have programmed all the above already. I am aware that only the main number should be registered. However if I do not register each individual number the given to me by the SIP provider the number cannot receive inbound calls. I have run Packet traces on the MBG but cannot not figure why it...

MiVoice system sending incorrect SIP registration username when authenticating!

Have a bit of a weird one here, Latest MiCollab with Voice software version: 6.0.123.0 I've been setting up a MiCollab with Voice system but have run into a problem when the SIP trunks try and register. I am able to receive inbound and outbound calls with a MBG anchoring my media. I was...
