Phones have their own voice vlan, and using the DHCP option string below they do pick up the MCIPADD Ip address and able to connect to the phone system. HOWEVER, the HTTPSRV is not being picked up. This prevents the phones form downloading new firmware and also the new screen-saver we have...
Running 8.1 ( 81) with SIP trunks. Users reports that they get the Waiting for a Line sometimes, they either wait - 20 seconds and the calls go through or they hangup keep redial and the call connects right away.
- Trunks Utilization is about 15 out of 22 lines max. Per carrier.
- Phones are...
tlpeter, yes thats the way we have been doing this. but it is still a manual process.
Is there a way to setup some sort of email notification when such an event occurs??
The SCN in Fallback mode operates well. But is there an ability to pull back the phones from the secondary IPO back to primary IPO after some time in an automatic recovery?
My situation is impacted by the subpar performance of the MPLS network. Some sites failover to the secondary IPO as the...
i have a customer on 8.1(63) who is asking to setup different DOD based on 9xxxxxxxxxx or 8xxxxxxxxxx.
I know this can be done on PRI using codes in ARS, but how would I go about doing this on SIP trunks without actually creating 2 separate SIP Lines and various URIs?
thank you!

Is there another place for SMTP ?

Hi guys,
I'm trying to find out how administration ( customer) can be notified if failover of the IPO or the VM server has occured. Avaya points back to the phone display status, but in reality are there any methods to notify IT if it kicked-in.
Thank you!

Have a IPO 500 v2 Embedded VM at a customer site with SIP trunks. When calls are placed directly to the DID, twinning occurs no problem. But if someone calls the main telephone number and is routed via the AA ( two AAs day and night), calls dont twin.
Any idea?
