The UCx from E Metro Tel will use all the Nortel IP sets. Their licensing structure is different than AVAYA and others and based more on system size and number of sets. I think they would be a good place to post or contact fpr more info. http://www.emetrotel.com/

E-Metro Tel will assist with this for a fee if you don't have a contract or vender associated with AVAYA. They are former Nortel engineers. You may have to go through a UCx partner though. http://www.emetrotel.com/

KCF is right, a bad fiber component can cause calls to drop and the clicking. Some problems seem not to get reported. My first bet would be the fiber daughter board in the main cabinet, but it could be any of the components. At the price you can get them for now days the cost is worth getting...
That does not rule out tn the main cabnethe fiber, I have seen this this caused by either the fiber card in the main cabnet or one of the other fiber components.

Make sure there is a 4 digit LDN key set, if there is only a 3 digit or none at all, the PBX may not be sending all digits to the CP.

Yes we sell them. All the functions are as close as you can get to be like the Norstar. AA/VM is a lot more versatile.

They are former Nortel eng. that have developed an asterisk based system to use reuse all Nortel phones. You need to check them out. http://www.emetrotel.com/ . This gives (for me anyway) Nortel customers a way to upgrade with out having to forklift the whole system at once and gives them a way...
With IPO you can ( I believe ) reuse the TDM sets but I don't think you can with the Shoretel. Would you be interested in becoming an E-Metro Tel partner?

If you need to, you can build a CLID for the primary DN. Do not click yes to use DN for DID. Put the number you want it to show ie,
ENTRY 99
HNTN 417
ESA_HLCL
ESA_INHN NO
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 626xxxx
DIDN NO
HLOC 417
LSC
CLASS_FMT DN
Your key 05 xxxx 99...

Out bound calls to the outside world - Key 5 (DN) 0 (0 being the CLID table of your main number. Internal calls would still show the CND of the DN. This is a guess at to what I think you want. It looks as if CLID table 1 is the DID CLID>

You may be able to replace it with a cheap/used laptop and use hyperterminal or any RS232 comm program. We generally use a PC as most systems use web based programs as well for voice mail, call center aps and ect.
