Okay that makes sense sizbut. What is the best way to play the recording then. I have it setup so if you press 1 there it is set to transfer to that .wav file, but it is saying I need to have a mailbox to point it to. Sorry I'm still new to all of this. Thanks!
At tlpeter yes I have voicemail pro. I thought I could use the listen option under mailbox options but that didn't work it seem to listen to my voice instead of me listening to a recording after pressing 1.
At sizbut, that will work for our HR reps who will be editing the recordings but they...
Well it will be coming from a separate 800 number that employees will call to see if we are closed. I won't be making changes to our regular greetings.
I was planning on setting up each of our 10 locations with a phantom mailbox so our HR reps can dial our main number and hit *7 to record the...
Employees wouldn't be making the changes. The change would come from HR. I guess I could setup a recording that says this location is currently closed have some kind of toggle that can be turned on or off.
Hey guys, I am trying to set up an inclument weather system and am having some issues about how to set it up properly. Our goal is to have employees dial an 800 number and then have a prompt that says press 1 for this location, 2 for this location, etc.... Once they do that a recording comes on...
Guys, I've setup our customer service department in a hunt group and they are requesting that all calls that come to that hunt group have a unique ring. Is that possible?
If not, is it possible to have the hunt group line ring on another line. We are setup with lines a, b, c. All calls are...
We have a 800 number that rings to one of our direct lines in our office. Sometimes the person calling needs to speak to a different CSR in another location. Is it possible to program a button so the person answering the phone can transfer the call to an outsider number? So it would be something...
I know how to use the phone to forward an extension to an outside line but I can't figure out a way to do it to an extension setup as a fax line. I've enabled remote call forwarding on that extension through WinSPM but am stuck there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Calls should ring to the main operator (x400 in our case) from 8am to 5pm. We have another number that is a cover in case x400 doesn't get to the phone in time. If no one answers during the day they should get the day menu. From 5:01PM to 7:59AM (the next morning) they should get the night menu...
When I did the times it was through the weekly business schedule. Anyway will work for me as long as night service is automatic. I don't know much about phone systems so all the help I can get is better. Thanks so far for your suggestions.
I tried it but it said my start couldn't be after my end time. When it asked for mode of operation I selected 1 for open. When I tried 2 for close it just made that day closed altogether. Thanks!
Is it possible to have night serivce turn on at 5:00pm and off at 8:00am Monday - Friday. I have the schedule setup, but it doesn't seem to be doing that at all. Thanks!
