Has anyone seen a tool where a project manager could lay out a 66 block or 110 block on a colored sheet that can be sent to a technician in the field?
What I've seen is an enlarged block with the capability of labeling each pair with whatever you wanted.
In my experiences with PRI, I think you may want to look at the digits being sent and your programming on the DID lines. It appears that the system is not sure what to do with these calls so it's routing where it can answered. 4-digit or 7-digit DID numbers set up in lines, then ring only to the...
I have a customer that is looking to have an external light (visual indicator) for message waiting. The scenario is that there is a phone that has a voicemail box in a windowed room in the office that the user wants to see (using a strobe or something like that) when they have a message.
Any...
We have hundreds of locations that use the CICS AA. I have seen this problem crop up a few times in the past, and a reboot takes care of it. Not until recently has the reboot not worked.
Our next step is going to be powering down, pulling out the software card, re-seat it and then reboot.

When using the CICS Auto Attendant our users are getting a "try again" prompt when trying to record a message.
The process is, enter into feature *832 to turn off the CCR;
then access feature *833 to record a message. Normally greeting C is used to record the greeting.
The user can go into...
We are having problems with an existing site that has recording set up in the CICS Auto Attendant, F*833. After disabling, F*832, we are unable to re-record any new greetings. When we try it comes up "Please wait", then "try again later". This is currently in greeting B.
I don't know the NEC programming. I have the manual, but I need to be clearer. I see where 4-29 is HFU, how would be program each port that needs HFU, by typing in the port number?
Snowman50. I was able to duplicate the problem and found a work around. Within Feature programming, call park can be set at "lowest" or "cycle". By changing to cycle eliminates the problem. It cause some discomfort to the folks used to parking mostly on 101, but other than that, I'm free! Thanks...
You can go back. You need to re-image the hard drive using the Nortel Imaging Tool, then load the Nortel 3.7 disks 1-3. Make sure, when you log into the BCM via putty that you change the date to prior to 2000, I use 1999.
This is instructions for removing files from the e: drive. If you have CDR active and saving to the hard drive, it will definitely fill up.

Snowman50,
Struck out moving to higher SWCA key numbers. What's interesting is that this problem does not present itself on BCM 400 4.0's. The SWCA tab in Capabilities has no noticable effect on this problem. I am currently taking a back-up and moving forward to duplicate in the lab.
I'm...
I am managing multiple locations with BCM 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7. The locations have both Call Park features and SWCA keys (used in one department to keep held calls to themselves). Recently I received a report that other departments were able to pick up call off of SWCA keys dialing 101. I was able...
