When using the CICS Auto Attendant our users are getting a "try again" prompt when trying to record a message.

The process is, enter into feature *832 to turn off the CCR;
then access feature *833 to record a message. Normally greeting C is used to record the greeting.

The user can go into each greeting and change it from Off to User, but when they go to record or play the message, it shows the "try again" prompt.

The users have been able to make recordings up until yesterday with no issues. The problem is happening at more that one location.

I have tried rebooting. I also turned the auto attendant off prior to the reboot. Then I had the users turn the AA back on after, still nothing.

We have hundreds of locations that use the CICS AA. I have seen this problem crop up a few times in the past, and a reboot takes care of it. Not until recently has the reboot not worked.

Our next step is going to be powering down, pulling out the software card, re-seat it and then reboot.

I was seeing if anyone else has seen this before. I certainly understand that not many customers use the CICS AA.
