I carry a Little Giant knockoff ladder, so it fits fine in the back. I've seen many in this area that use a roof mounted ladder rack for big extension ladders.
As I am only 5' 7", I don't have a problem with the seat :)
However our taller guys look like they are driving a clown car...The cage...
We went to the Ford Transit back when they first came out. Not a bad vehicle, decent on gas, has plenty of room for cable, equipment, etc.
We also service a fairly rural area, goes through the snow well with good snow tires. It's a bit of a stiff ride and slightly under powered IMHO.

I second Sarond's suggestion.
Build a new CRA, remove the canned greetings and have the Timeout step go to whichever mailbox you need.
Have the Recall destination of your HG go to that CRA.
Multitech Fax Finder is a very good choice. I have deployed analog port units on IPO and Mitel platforms with great success and virtually no service issues. Have not tried the SIP trunk integration.

Verify that you have a working port connected to the Flash.
Make sure Set Relocation is turned off
Unplug cable from the Flash and plug it into a digital phone
If the phone works then plug back into Flash and reboot both the CICS and Flash
You have stated that when calling the company, the greeting says press 1 for sales, 2 for Service, etc....This is CCR. When an incoming caller presses 1, where does the call ring?
Are you connecting the digital sets to the base cabinet or expansion cabinet? The digital licenses are for activating digital station ports on the main cabinet.
As exsmogger suggested, power down the system and make sure dip switches on 4x16 are all ON.
No need to change extension of digital set. Just plug it back into the BCM, when it comes on-line press Feature 981. Then instead of entering the password for that particular mailbox, you should see an option on the bottom line of the display that reads OTHR. Press the softkey under OTHR then...
