Replacing a Merlin Legend with an IPOffice and want to reuse the ATT doorphone controller as one of the two doors has a strikeplate.
Currently the Controller connects to the Legend via a line port. Wanted to do the same with my IPOffice; connecting to a line port and assigning the doorphone...
Okay thanks... didn't know hotline could only dial an extension and not a group.
Do you see any reason using actual doorphones as analog extensions wouldn't work on the ports?
Have a customer who wants 5 doorphones. I know the ACS only allows 2.
Am thinking of assigning station ports as hotlines (#603) which would dial a group created in #502.
I'd be using real doorphones connected to the station ports, but no actual "doorphone" programming.
Anyone see any...
Hard to say when exactly this started -- the customer claims they (at one point) were able to call England. IDK if that's true or not, but I'm inclined to believe them.
The customer has not recently changed service providers, but that doesn't mean the customer's SP hasn't changed something...
Thanks for the responses guys, but none of that worked.
Essentially, I'm sending a "+" in front of numbers dialed to country code 44 and I don't know how to get rid of it.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the "+"?
I've played around with Number Type, Operator, and Type of Number. Bone of them seemed to have an effect on the calls to England.
Thanks again for looking at this.

Yes, all the calls go across a PRI. The above is the ARS printout. Thanks for your help, anything you could suggest would be great. This one has me stumped.

I have a Magix which can make international calls just fine but it can't make calls to England or any other counrty with a 2 digit country code.
Austrailian number 011-613-643-1-5000 works great.
British number 011-44-207-05-12928 or 011-44-845-124-9068 won't go.

One of my customers has a strange issue -- occasionally when extension 108 is dialed, extension 118 will ring (and even end up in 118's voicemail). The problem exists on both inbound DID calls and internal station to station calls. Also the problem seems to be intermittent.
I've verified the...
Thanks for the response.
Would a standard patch cable work between the two switches or would I need a cross-over? Assuming I'm going directly from the IPO to Legend?
Trying to network a Magix to IP Office using a "home-made" point-to-point pri, i.e., the Magix shold be grabbing dialtome from the IP Office.
Currently I can make calls fron the IP Office to the Magix, but not from Magix to IPOffice... I also can't make the Magix grab dialtone off the...
Upgraded an R3 Legend to R7. Afterward my DID trunks began ringing busy (regular busy not fast busy) and ring the same whether the trunks are plugged in or not.
I checked the programming, and the DID settings are the same as before the upgrade (TT/rotary, wink/immediate, etc...)
I AM able to...
Anyone ever set up a FaxFinder on an IPO Partner Edition?
I have all the pdfs re: installing it along with a proper IPOffice but the Parter Edition is obviously completely different. I can't create users in IPO-PE and the call routing is pretty basic.
