Call Pilot 100 Feature 983 invalid password.

Hello: Thanks for your reply. Considering the CIC is 2 digit intercom. The passcode should in fact be 120000. I have also tried 1020000. But neither of them works? I could still use some help. Thanks...

Call Pilot 100 Feature 983 invalid password.

Hello: I CAN connect to a CP100 with my laptop. Password is the standard default passcode for a 2 digit CICS. It works fine. However when I try to log in from a T7316e using feature 983 the same passcode says invalid? Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Customer Created Cics Issue?

Good Morning: Wierd issue. Called to a site by one of our other techs yesterday for an outage. One of our Clec customers purchased a new cordless themselves to replace his existing Nortel T7406 cordless that evidently failed on his Nortel CICS. The new cordless handset looks similar to the...

Upgrade for MICS. Caller ID & T Series sets.

Another vendor that has since went out of business installed a MICS for a customer many years ago. The customer is asking me to take over the maintence for the system. They would like to add caller ID and upgrade the sets from M7310 to T7316 or T7316e sets. Below is the current configuration...

    CICS Randomly changes time.

Thank you to everyone that replied to this thread. You were absolutely correct. The time and date in the local providers Adtran T924 was not set correct. And the time and date in the Nortel ksu was set for auto time and date. Still learning after all these years. Thanks again.

    CICS Randomly changes time.

Hello: I recently installed a used CICS as a temporary band aid to get a customer by until new equipment can be installed. The used system is working just fine. All 8 caller ID lines work. I set the time and date to the correct time and date yesterday, but noticed the time was off by several...

Hello: CatOnkeyboard. Thanks for the suggestion. I never heard anymore about this from my customer, I assume they must have found something at the main site as you suggested. Thanks again.

One way dialing issue on two Samsung Systems.

Hello: I work for a CLEC that provides copper trunks and internet connection to a local customer here. They have a small 2 year old Samsung key system connected back to the home office via a static IP over the internet. 3 digit dialing between sites did work at one time. Having one way dialing...

    Expanding a MICS KSU

Thank you to the both of you. I have installed hundreds of Toshiba Systems and about 70 Nortel Systems 3X8, 616, CICS, MICS and a few BCM50's in my career. None of which were very complicated applications or have required much maintenence since the day they were installed, so I have little...

    Expanding a MICS KSU

One of my now retired coworkers installed a MICS for a customer in 2002. DR5 software SP:30BKG02 NAT. The system has been bullet proof for over 10 years. However the customer has now out grown the original KSU configuration of 8 caller ID lines, 32 digital extentions (T7316 and T7208 series...

Hello: I want to thank each one of you for your help. I had already tried to reboot the VM with no good results. The F903 did not work. So I did a F983 config and rebuilt the mailboxes and AA. I do not work on Nortel equipment as much as I used to, I am a little rusty. Your suggestions saved me...
