That is the date and time that the CAPF operation has to run by in order to still be valid. i.e. if the operation is set to install/upgrade and by null string the phone needs to register or reset by that date and time or the LSC cert will not be installed.
It sounds like you are removing the line by selecting the "Modify Button Items" and removing the line from there. This is why you are seeing new button templates being created. To remove a line from a phone, select the line then you will see the associated devices box. Select the phone you want...
If you look on the phone right now it probably has a firmware of 8.3.3 or earlier, to go to 8.5.2 and above you must first upgrade to a code above 8.3.3 (8.4.4 is a nice stable release). Once you do this upgrade once you can then go to 8.5.2 and above.
Just a word of caution. In call manager 4.x you get the addition of trunk side SIP (I beleive it is 4.2 but don't quote me on that). If you are looking for SIP endpoints you have to be at version 5 and above for that added feature.
I agree with pndscm, check the exchange settings. How big it the file attachment with 22 minute message? Is it close to the max attachment size for an exchange message?
Take a look in the SRND guide on Cisco's site and read about the device/line calling plan. A very useful function of the 2 CSS is with device mobility. The CSS on the phone will update depending on where the phone is physically located but the CSS on the line will always be the same. So the idea...
The connected party transformations is what controls how the name is passed through on a translation pattern. Make sure the Connected Name Presentation is set to allowed and you will see the name associated with the 4 digit extension. You can also use the DNA to see where the name is being blocked.
If you know the exact table you are looking for information from you can go in via the CLI and use the "run sql" command to run a SELECT statement. To get root access is not a trivial process you need to generate a key that you then shoot to tac and the have a tool to generate a response but hey...
To switch your cluster to secure mode you need to use the CTL client plugin that runs on your windows machine. What needs to happen is turn on the CTL and the CAPF services, login as an admin via the client and connect to your cluster. Then you will need to have a hardware security keys you...
You can add the Malicious Call Trace button to the softkey template on the users phones then when they get a harassing call they can press the key and all the call details will be logged in the trace file. It sounds like you are using POTS lines so it will not have Caller ID information but it...
I am assuming 860 is the directory number in call manager correct? If so try setting your route pattern for internal calls on your option 81 to NOT use external number mask and then on the patterns for PSTN calls select the external mask option. This way all internal callers nortel or cisco will...
I just went though the exact same upgrade and the answer is there is no upgrade, you need to build CCX 7.X from scratch. You can reuse the scripts but everything else is a complete redo. You can export and then import historical report data but even then you must be comming from CCX 4.0.5
