I have a similar situation and used COR and time-of day chart to separate. I also put 2 POTS line off of the local G450 for the POTS to connect to. The Pots have the BTN of the local building. Im on CM 5.2.1
COR Number: 215
COR Description: Std User W/US-Canada FRL 5 TOD...
You have other SIP endpoints that work in both directions?
i know setting up the routing tab on System Manager is a pain, but with it working in one direction it sounds like the outbound routing is right but the inbound is missing something
So you want to have sk 10 (primary) RONA to Sk 20 on the other CM CC then if a RONA happens send the caller to voicemail? so the RONA for sk 20 would need to point to voicemail. This means ALL calls to that skill will RONA to voicemail
amen, but without a feat code to dial for transfer it would still be necessary to hit transfer then the vdn. Looks like your best bet is answer, transfer, <busy-ind>, transfer
My apologies, Joe
If the agent is available and lets the call RONA so that it will go back to the other Queue that agent will be forced into Aux, unless I'm missing something obvious that agent will need to put himself back to IN
The only caveat on using RONA is the current agent will be put into Aux mode.
The agent will need to know to go back in.
we use RONA heavily to avoid calls be lost at an agent
are you able to trace the trunk to see what CM is seeing? What error are you hearing/seeing?
The Polycom trio has a wegpage configurator which is where I found the digitmap under SIP setting tab
what are you seeing when you li trac tac <trunk tac code>?
is the digitmap on the polycom built correctly. I just installed a Polycom Trio and had to fight the digitmap
Thanks Stewaro1, I am looking to do a rollout of SIP to my 9608 phones but only want to roll to a limited selection and keep the rest on H.323.
I will try the same approach
looks like you are missing a goto end
GET 96x1HProd.txt
GOTO END
# TEST
GET 96x1HQA.txt
GOTO END
# TESTAgt
GET 96x1HQAAgt.txt
GOTO END
# END
GOTO GETSET
for remote gateway/sites i put a single or 2 POTS and build Time of day routing for that location/COR to direct the call out the local POTS so in case the caller cant speak the BTN of the POTS will alert 911 of the location.
