We just had a new BCM50 installed and we have a 1230 that appears to be stuck on handsfree. Is the phone bad or is there a setting the user could have changed to make the phone that way?
You can name the ACOD associated with the RDB. Look up the ACOD in the route data block in LD 16 and then go into LD 95 and name the ACOD. That name will now show up on an incoming call to that route.
You need to break out your NPA's a little farther. You need to out NPA 1423 and rebuild as 1423 1, 1423 2, 1423 3, 1423 4, 1423 50, 1423 51, 1423 52, 1423 53, 1423 54, 1423 550, 1423 551, 1423 552, 1423 553, 1423 554, 1423 555 0, 1423 555 10, 1423 555 11, 1423 555 120, 1423 555 1211, 1423 555...
If you are moving to an Option 11 with a PRI you can have the numbers on those individual trunks ported to your PRI as DIDs and then you won't have to worry about analog trunks.
First off, extension 2288 needs to hunt to an extension other that 2288. Secondly, HTD and FND need to be HTA and FNA. Thirdly, there is no FNA set up. FTR FDN XXXX. If none of the phones are forwarded and all have SFD in CLS and a call comes into extension 1 and no one answers it, it will...
You can only forward no answer once unless you give the second phone SFA in CLS. That will allow it to forward no answer one more time. After that it just rings.
We have attempted to install the desktop messaging client on three new machines and the install goes fine. However, when a person attempts to log on, it returns the Desktop Messaging Properties box. Also, when you try to expand the CallPilot Desktop Messaging group of folders (we are using...
I have two CP's that I want to network, What type of networking is the easiest for the customer to use? I have looked at 555-7101-102. Is there something else out there about implementation? This document didn't help a whole lot. It appears that enterprise may be best but it sounds like it...

Log into Meridian Mail, choose 5 for system status and maintenance, choose 7 for sytem event and error reports, choose 1 for seer retrieval, put in 91 for seer class, and choose a date about 10 days back. Go through all of the pages that come up and you will see entries for "stale" mailboxes...
I ran into a similar situation. In the end I had to load XP from a CD, not an image. When XP was loaded as an image from our network TM would not work. As soon as we loaded it locally, no problems.
Log into Meridian Mail, choose System Status and Maintenance, then System Event and Error Reports, then SEER Retrieval, put 91 in for SEER Class, and choose a start date 10 days prior. Run through all the pages and it will show you mailboxes with no activity for the previous 30 days. I do this a...
