Stand alone server install on laptop running XP Pro w/SP2. Getting "Can't create OTMAuthentication interface" and error 80010105. Has anyone seen this before?
Thank you.

Check this thread it might help. There are a few others try a search on OTM. I had the same issue, but my solution was with my map drives.

glynnmsg, thank you for the post. I had read those and also found that error on the Nortel site but nothing regarding the one I am getting.

This is a standalone server install that I have loaded on my laptop (not connected to network)so that I can use it for remote support of my customers. Have w/w OTM on many occasions but have never run across this problem.

Might have to send the laptop in to be reimaged and have my IT guys load it.

This is a known issue:

You have to change the authentication from system to "use this identity" and specify which credentials to use in the OTM component services.

I don't recall the exact steps, but they are listed in the TM 3.0 installation manual.

I ran into a similar situation. In the end I had to load XP from a CD, not an image. When XP was loaded as an image from our network TM would not work. As soon as we loaded it locally, no problems.

I did get that error- I think what I found it I did an un-install and re-installed.
