But when a caller tries to leave a voicemail it will only allow a 30 sec message." From Original Post
This is the issue i am experiencing. When the max record time is set to 180.
I have a customer with an IP500 on 5.0(8) with an embedded voicemail card. The max record limit is set to 180. I have 28 users with boxes and 2 AA with greetings about 30 seconds long each. I have checked System Status and Checked all Mailboxes for messages and most mailboxes have 0 messages...
I believe that i read that the AutoAttendant by default does a supervised transfer out of the Auto Attendant when dialing the extension number. Try setting up a selector code to transfer to extension 10. I believe i read that when you set it up this way it will blind transfer. I will look for...
Most small IP systems sub 20 user level give voice mail with the package. It is usually a basic mail similar to an embedded mail. One manufacturer is Allworx, and i think vertical has a small SIP system that they are marketing to Very small business that also includes voice mail.
Yes it is a 6 pin and i already tried the normal full reversal like it is a normal EU24 module. Made the phone reboot constantly. Already tested a straight 6 conductor cord and no change.
Had a customer ship back a headset she was using on her 5410 and she did not send the Hookswitch control cord(eu24). Does anyone happen to know the pin out so i can use this headset without a lifter? Thanks!
I use a valcom v-2003a which will do 3 zones. I connect it to a trunk port and have a shotcode set to dial with that trunk port line id and the telephone number field blank. The valcom waits for you to dial a zone number to page to. for example 1 2 3 or 4 for all zones. hope this helps.
Thanks for all the responses. Since my customer is multi-tenant on the IP500 with dual ARS codes 9 and 8 prefix i went with the account codes. I tested on my test switch and it works but like Bas1234 said the transfer external was some trouble but luckily that user isn't allowed to transfer...
Have a IP500 with embedded mail on 5.0(8). I need a way to password restrict outbound calls from a single extension. Customer does not want an Extension Login button. I know with voicemail pro i could accomplish this but looking for a way to do it with out VM Pro.
This is going to be an issue with XO. I have had the same trouble it is because they use e911 and if it not turned on for the PRI(on XO side) it will never go through.
Thanks for the replys! I plugged in into the trunk port like it was before, reboot no luck. Lowered the ring persistency and rebooted and it started working. Thanks for the info.
I will go and try both options heade there now. Thanks for the quick responses. I did set it to dial not dial extn, that is probably why it won't work.
Thanks!
Upgraded customer from Merlin Legend to IP500 5.0.8

IP 500 running 5.0.8 with a PRI using a external music source. When calls internally from extension to extension or using a music button the on hold music plays clear. On incoming or outgoing calls when the caller is placed on hold the music then has static. I have checked the input cord for...
Thanks for the input i agree that 30 ports should be adequate. i am going to go with VM Pro at full 30 ports as that is what the customer is requesting. He shouldn't have any congestion but if he does 5.0 will be out and he can buy 10 more ports. Thanks for yalls insight.
Have a customer that has a large site wanting IP Office IP500 with 3- 23 Channel PRI's. All calls to main number will go through auto attendant first before live body. VM Pro maxes at 30 Ports and customer is expecting high call volume 2 PRI's will be strictly incoming (46 channels) the...
