    Add IPSI 8500

To Mitch672: Highjacking this thread a little. I found this diagram from your Feb 20th post useful for what I am trying to figure out. "S8500C" http://jaymzworld.com/wiki/Server_ports_and_IP_addresses#S8500C That is what the back of my server looks like. I am trying to figure out which...

User specific printing preferences are not saved

At this point, we deleted a registry key on all the Citrix servers that holds all the printers and then let it recreate. That seems to have helped. We are using native drivers. I will look into these policy settings if we still have problems. Thanks - Jennifer

User specific printing preferences are not saved

I learned the the retention policy would not apply to my situation because the retention policy is only for client printers (not session printers). Any other ideas from anyone? This really did work at one point. Jennifer

User specific printing preferences are not saved

Recently, our users have not been able to save their printing preferences and I need to figure out why. We use roaming profiles on PS 4.5/Windows Server 2003. We use a combination of PCs and Wyse terminals, but it is not specific to either device. We have 4 print servers (Server 2000 and...

    Mini GBIC

One our locations was upgraded from multimode to single mode fiber. So we need a mini GBIC for our switches to move over to the new connection. I am looking at the CDWG website and they list an "Extreme Networks compatible" module by Advantage Optics. Has anyone ever used these and are they...

Auto create printer using UPD on wyse terminal?

I have been looking at this more. I really don't want to mess with the way that I have the printers connected to they Wyse terminals. We had so many problems ironing out the process to get them to work, that I really don't want to switch to LPR. So - Does anyone know if what I am asking is...

Auto create printer using UPD on wyse terminal?

We never used to have the LPD tab, but I looked and we do now. We currently have our wyse printers configured through the Ports tab of the printer configuration page. We select the connection type (LPT or USB), assign a printer name, and check "Enable the printer device" and "Enable LPD...

Auto create printer using UPD on wyse terminal?

We use Presentation Server 4.5 in a Windows Server 2000/2003 environment with 3 print servers. 1 print server is dedicated to printers attached to a Wyse 1125SE terminal. Currently, we use policies to create session printers. I want to map some printers to use the UPD which is only...

    Error: Network is Unreachable

I have downloaded the trial version. I don't have a price, but it is probably too expense for government. It would have to be pretty benefitial for me to justify it. I'll see how it is. Thanks for the advice - Jennifer

    Error: Network is Unreachable

That worked! Thank you so much. Now I have to read up on the VR stuff. I'm learning as I go here. Too bad I have to do that manually for all my switches. Jennifer

    Error: Network is Unreachable

I am new to Extreme. We have 13 Summit x250e-24t and 2 x450a-24t integrated with our Avaya telephone system. I am trying to upload the current configuration file to a tftp server for backup. I get this error message: Network is Unreachable. I have tried these commands with the same results...
