    ICP3300 (MXe) 2nd Layer 2 Switch Port: Redundancy?

    I'm trying to understand how to configure the 2nd Layer 2 Switch Port. The documentation refers to the 2nd port being used to connect to a 2nd LAN. I'm a bit confused as you can only assign the same IP address to both ports. Is there any way to configure the 2nd port for redundancy/concurancy?

    Mitel 3300ICP + 6100 + 6160 => Autodialer???

    Pre-Dialler" - is that the same as "Outbound Dialler" - I've been looking into the module but it doesn't only seems to queue calls for agents - our plan is that exactly the same message is played to all clients. Something like distribution lists but for external numbers. wrt to the 6160 could...

    Mitel 3300ICP + 6100 + 6160 => Autodialer???

    sounds a bit scary - is it just a matter of installing AsterixNow on a spare box and doing some reconfiguration on the Mitel Box? I might set-up a VM first to test it out but I was hopping there was a way to do it without the need for extra infrastructure/support.

    Mitel 3300ICP + 6100 + 6160 => Autodialer???

    We have a small system of a Mitel 3300ICP + 6100 + 6160 but were wondering if it's possible to utilize any part of it as an autodialer to an external distribution list. We'd like the system to call a number of our users and play an automated information message. The list of users is always...

    Component Services MMC Snap-In?

    I did try this question in the server forum and didn't get very far - I hope this is the right place: -------- I have an annoying problem with the Component Services MMC Snap-In - whenever someone adds a computer connection to another server using that Snap-In becomes really slow (if the server...

    Component Services MMC Snap-In

    I have an annoying problem with the Component Services MMC Snap-In - whenever someone adds a computer connection to another server using that Snap-In becomes really slow (if the server stops being available it's much worse). If I wait long enough I might get the option to delete that server...

    Mitel 6160/Inteligent Queue Site Too Slow

    i don't think it's the browser as the problem only happens during periods of high traffic. in terms of IIS/SQL everything does seem to be set-up using default settings (can't think anyone would have spend too long setting everything up) but it was done before my time (I believe by an external...

    Mitel 6160/Inteligent Queue Site Too Slow

    It's probably a touch more powerful than it needs to be: RAM 2GB (1.4GB seems free all the time) CPU 2.8Ghz Xeons(4 Core) (at peaks times doesn't get above 6% for each core) OS: Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 HDD: RAID 1+0 300 10K SCSI The box is also not used for anything else. It does seem that...

    Mitel 6160/Inteligent Queue Site Too Slow

    We are limited to 8 ports but does that limit also affect logging onto the site for admin purposes? We don't get any errors when accessing the site - mainly when it tries to load a page it takes a long time, says it's done, but you're still on the last page. If it is a port issue is there any...

    Mitel 6160/Inteligent Queue Site Too Slow

    We have a relatively small Helpdesk (<20 agents) but whenever we get a sudden peak in demand the Mitel 6160/Inteligent Queue site grinds to a halt - which is a bit of a problem as we need to change our answerphone message through it. I've done some basic performance monitoring and...

    Mitel Phonbook Entries Temporarily Disappear

    Also checked that setting and it's set to: No. We also only have a single location so it shouldn't be an issue. Also, as above, it's very intermittent - quite often if you just press the Super Key and search again the entry will come up - on the client side you go through exactly the same process.

    Mitel Phonbook Entries Temporarily Disappear

    UK - Yep. Won't be able to contact Mitel directly (I think you can only do that in Canada) but will speak to our provider and will mention your reference number.

    Mitel Phonbook Entries Temporarily Disappear

    UMA Engineering???? Always wanted to visit Canada... Nope, not here. I guess we'll have to get in touch with Mitel on this one..... doesn't sound too promising.

    Mitel Phonbook Entries Temporarily Disappear

    We have some weird behaviour using the Phonebook system on our Mitel 3300 network - it's something that's probably been the case since the system was installed but as people are getting used to using it I'm getting a few more complaints - when searching the Phonebook from the phone (through the...

    External Access to Voicemail (newbie alert)

    Doh.... Indeed we were missing out the very crucial step 2. Many thanks. It seems there was nothing wrong in the first place. Many thanks. Best regards,

    External Access to Voicemail (newbie alert)

    Hi all, It is indeed routed via a Speedcall number but sadly I can't find any relevant settings there. When that number is called internally you talk to the company Autoattendant. If you ask to be forwarded to the Voicemail Hunt group or any individual Voicemail port you end up back at the...

    PPS, it's a Mitel 3300 system.

    External Access to Voicemail (newbie alert)

    For some reason users are not able to dial into our voicemail system from the outside. The internal number used for voicemail (6666) is outside our DDI range and a unique number in the DDI range has been configured to point to this system. When you dial this number internally it works great but...
