Mitel 3300ICP + 6100 + 6160 => Autodialer???

We have a small system of a Mitel 3300ICP + 6100 + 6160 but were wondering if it's possible to utilize any part of it as an autodialer to an external distribution list. We'd like the system to call a number of our users and play an automated information message. The list of users is always going to fixed (pretty much). Is any of this possible with our system?

Asterisk + SIP trunking on 3300 will do this job.

sounds a bit scary - is it just a matter of installing AsterixNow on a spare box and doing some reconfiguration on the Mitel Box? I might set-up a VM first to test it out but I was hopping there was a way to do it without the need for extra infrastructure/support.

6160 has some limited way of doing this. It depends on your purchased license if you have it or not. If not it will cost you as a couple of decent servers just to get the licence.

Speak to Mitel as they have exactly what you want. It's called the Pre-Dialler for outbound dialling. seena demo and it intigrates into the 6100 for reports etc.

Pre-Dialler" - is that the same as "Outbound Dialler" - I've been looking into the module but it doesn't only seems to queue calls for agents - our plan is that exactly the same message is played to all clients.

Something like distribution lists but for external numbers.

wrt to the 6160 could you please advise what I should look for to see if we have it?

I have researched and 6160 cannot do this.
