    Merlin Magix Call Hunt

Hello. I have an Avay Merlin Magix system using WinSPM release 9.0. In our sales office, incoming calls will ring on a phone until a certain number of rings, and if unanswered, the call will start ringing on another phone. I've got one phone in the office that doesn't do that, and I need to...

Problem Swapping Extensions - Forwarded Calls Ringing @ the Wrong X

The extension forwarding is 2217, and it's forwarding to 6404. I know the extension number, but not it's physical location. I've tried to call it to recreated the issue, but it now goes straight to voicemail as if there's no phone plugged in.

Problem Swapping Extensions - Forwarded Calls Ringing @ the Wrong X

That would be done at the phone itself as far as I know, but I don't know where the extension is physically located. It is not located at any of the two locations I swapped. Is there a way to change the setting in WinSPM?

Problem Swapping Extensions - Forwarded Calls Ringing @ the Wrong X

Thanks. After printing, I found that the extension is set to forward to the other for some reason. However, I don't know how to turn that off.

Problem Swapping Extensions - Forwarded Calls Ringing @ the Wrong X

I would be glad to, but as I am new to WinSPM and Merlin Magix (experienced with Meridian systems), I don't know how to do that.

    Legend system doing weird stuff

I have seen these problems in many different types of systems - to include Meridian and Avaya. 9.9 times out of 10, it's been a power issue related to a faulty continuity shelf. All these issues that you're describing are the direct result of power surges. On digital lines, surges resulting...

Problem Swapping Extensions - Forwarded Calls Ringing @ the Wrong X

I'm using WinSPM R 9.0 with our Avaya Merlin Magix PBX system. When I swap two extensions, calls forwarded to one are going to the other (i.e. - Extension 2271 was moved to office X from office Y, and extension 2204 was moved from office Y to office X. Calls forwarded to extension 2271 are...

    PDF/PDX Documents printing very slow.

This is only affecting one user. Other users print from the same application to the same printer with no issues. She is using an Oracle Java application that outputs a file in PDF format displayed in a web browser. The print window is very slow to come up, and very slow to start printing...

I need to help a user forward her extension to her cell phone, however, I don't know what needs to be done in WinSPM to make her extension capable of doing so or the steps to get there.

Octel Overture 200 Auto Attendant won't pick up.

Actually, I discovered that drive 2 crashed. The auto attendant was on mailbox 3000, and that was on drive 2. Since we have a maintenance contract with Avaya, I am having a tech come out to replace the drive. While he's here, I'll have him help me with setting up the Auto Attendant. Thanks...

Yeah. I know, but I didn't know the RCO was under LD 20. I'm still kind of new to this. Thanks again for your help.

    Ring Count for Voicemail

Thanks for your help. I needed to set the RCO on the cutomer's TN (LD 20) to reference the CFN 1 that I set to 3 rings (LD 15). I've got it now.

    Incoming analog line issue

The best part of a POTS line for a phone support guy is that it's the telephone company's responsibility. You don't have access (or permission) to the resources necessary to find the problem. The number is most likely set to forward to an invalid number, or it has been disabled for some...

    Anyone ever seen ERR020?

The issue I'm having only seems to be with the ring generator. The extension is working, but just not ringing. When I shut off/ on the power to the switches, ring generator, etc... the phones start ringing again, then stop ringing, then start again and keep working for a while.
